No matter whether you prefer adventure or peace and quiet, you will find exactly what you are looking for in Lech, from heli-skiing to a winter ride on a horse sleigh followed by an evening in a mountain hut – in other words, everything you need for a perfect holiday. Tobogganing tracks, hiking paths, touring routes, and cross-country skiing tracks are just waiting for you to discover them. With such a great number of activities available in the fresh air and natural surroundings, you are sure to find relaxation and inner peace.

Skiing

Over 440 km of descents of all levels of difficulty await you, along with a breathtaking panorama and the incomparable Arlberg atmosphere. This is the place where the history of skiing began. Whether you enjoy skiing or snowboarding, you’re in the right place here. And should you want to take a break between your turns, we will be happy to welcome you on Sonnenburg’s large sunny terrace.

Heli-skiing and ski tours

Going on a ski tour is one of the most beautiful things in mountain sports. More and more people want to discover the mountains’ unspoilt side and at the same time increase their fitness. The region of Arlberg offers nearly all types of ascents and deep powder snow or corn snow descents. The ascent is possible by cable car, helicopter, or on skis fitted with fur linings.

Cross-country skiing

Start from the bridge near the Aparthotel Filomena with the following possibilities:

• Lech – Zug approx. 2,8 km
• Omesberg – Zug approx. 2,4 km
• Zug – Älpele approx. 3,5 km
• Älpele –Tannläger – Älpele approx. 8,0 km
• Beginner’s track: Lech – Stubenbach approx. 1.5 km

Winter hikes

Hiking distances are signposted in kilometres since it is not possible to give precise times due to the changing snow conditions. Around 20 km of paths are available for your hikes.

Tobogganing tracks

The tobogganing track begins just around the corner from the hotel and is also open for rides at night until 10 pm each day. Young and old alike can have great fun on the illuminated tobogganing track complete with snow machines that runs from Oberlech to Lech. Adventurous stretches will provide great fun on your ride downhill and an unforgettable experience for the entire family. Rental sledges are available by the ski lifts at Oberlech.

Ice skating rink

The ice skating rink is situated only 10 minutes away from the Lech Oberlech lower ski lift station by Hotel Monzabon.

Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is a trendy sport that originated in Scandinavia and increases fitness, improves the heart rate, releases muscle tension in the neck and shoulders, strengthens upper body muscles while reducing the strain on the body by up to 30%, making this sport particularly suitable for people who suffer from knee and back pain.
