Gregor and Waltraud Hoch have been running Hotel Sonnenburg since 2004. Together with their department managers they run the hotel personally and innovatively. Regular staff meetings ensure that Sonnenburg never remains stagnant and that the comfort of its guests remains the hotel’s focal point.

Our management team consists of 8 department managers who motivate and manage their staff competently and professionally.  Working systematically ensures that each member of staff is informed about the special wishes of each of our guests. Our department managers are always there for their staff to give support and impart knowledge.

Tamas Enyingi – In-house technician

Tamas Enyingi joined the Sonnenburg team in November 2009 and since then has been responsible for the hotel’s technical equipment, the arrival and departure of our guests and making sure everything runs smoothly in his department.

Before Tamas began working in Sonnenburg, he gained technical experience working in Heiligenblut, Serfaus and Lake Constance. He is our point of contact with all local delivery services and is responsible for the whole logistics of Sonnenburg. The tunnel system and the special transportation vehicles used in the tunnels are his speciality. He also takes care that any necessary repairs in the hotel are carried out as quickly as possible.

 

Mira Bacic – Housekeeping

Mira Bacic is the good soul of our hotel, who ensures that Sonnenburg is kept clean. Mira has been on our team for over 30 years. She knows Sonnenburg like the back of her hand.

She has been head of the housekeeping team since December 2016 and keeps the rooms wonderfully clean. This is a new era for Mira with all of our new rooms.
