The Burgwad Trail -for Adrenalin fans

The Burgwald Trail in Lech is the first official Freeride and Enduro track in Vorarlberg. The Petersbodenbahn right next to the Sonnenburg brings you directly to the start of the trail. The trail offers freeriding fun for beginners as well as for ambitious mountain bikers.

The different levels of difficulty on the trail are suitable for every level of rider:

  • Blue = Easy
  • Red = Hard
  • Black = Extreme

Bikers with little trail experience will have fun on the continuous Easy-Line, while advanced bikers will find sections with varying degrees of difficulty. The Easy-Line is also suitable for children, so the whole family can go on an adrenalin hunt together.

In addition wooden curves, north-shore elements, drops and technical challenges make the course more selective and challenging. Our highlights are:

  • the 50 meter long Anaconda-North Shore Element
  • the Skinny Boardwalk
  • the Patrese-jump with the following double Road-Gap

The trail starts at the top station of the Petersbodenbahn and continues down to the valley. This makes it possible to enter the trail directly from the Oberlech cable car, i.e. directly from the Sonnenburg. A short passage on the forest road towards the valley leads to the entrance.

  • Easy-Line for beginners with junctions for advanced
  • Altitude difference: 480 m
  • Length: ca. 3.2 km
  • Duration of a ride: circa 30 Minuten
  • Underground: forest soil, gravel, North Shore elements
