In addition to the indoor pool at Hotel Sonnenburg, the public pool Waldschwimmbad in Lech is the perfect place for a refreshing dip: A big sports pool, aquafit pool, jacuzzi jets, baby pool, children’s pool and a big water slide guarantee fun for everyone. Beach volleyball, table tennis and tennis round off an ideal family day on a summer holiday in Austria. The swimming fun continues at the water park AlmWasserPark in Klostertal, a wonderful natural swimming pool with fun activities for all ages. With your Lech Card, the entry is free.
Golf
At 1,500 metres above sea level, the 9-hole golf course in Zug is the highest golf course in Austria. Its fairways extend over 19 hectares at the banks of the Lech river in the Zugertal valley. In the practice area with a driving range, putting green and chipping area, beginners can practice their swings, while professionals hone their technique. The golf school offers lessons for all levels.
Fishing
Rivers and lakes in the midst of the beautiful mountain landscape invite you to go fishing – try your luck! The lakes Formarinsee and Spullersee are home to brown and rainbow, lake and brook trout.
