Three themed hikes in Lech, Vorarlberg

As a little foretaste, we would like to introduce you to three themed hikes in Lech, which can be conquered in several stages.
The Lechweg
The famous long-distance hiking trail – the Lechweg – leads you from Lake Formarin in Lech over 125 kilometres through the Alps and through one of the last wild river landscapes in Europe to Füssen. You follow the Lech river on your way, from its source to the Lechfall waterfall.
If you’re not in the mood for a multi-day tour, you can make do with the first stage – as it is certainly beautiful: The first stage of the trail takes you from Lake Formarin to Lech. Take the hiking bus to Lake Formarinsee, marvel at the glittering eye-catcher and then start your approximately 5-hour hike back to Lech.
The Green Ring
The Green Ring is inspired by the famous ski circuit, the White Ring. In three stages, the hike in Oberlech takes you over mountain ridges and through valleys, past mountain lakes and rivers. Along the entire 28.5 kilometres, you will be accompanied by mythical creatures and their lore.
Explore all 35 legends or pick out individual sections of the trail – thanks to the Seekopfbahn mountain cableway, you can also join the second stage directly – and let the artistic installations whisk you away into a mysterious world. Tannberg trail
The Tannberg themed trail takes you 85 kilometres through the Tannberg hiking region and you will be walking in the footsteps of the Walser – an Alemannic ethnic group in the Alpine region. Numerous cultural and natural sights await you along the way, as well as the beautiful mountain landscape and glistening mountain lakes.
57 stops provide historical insights into the villages of Lech, Warth and Schröcken, where Walser culture, tradition and customs are celebrated. And there are also little treasures hidden here and there for all geocaching fans. This hike is perfect for the whole family.
